Nita has been in education for 20+ years. She has a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education and an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership. Nita also has an endorsement in Reading and Coaching. She has 13+ years teaching in elementary classrooms and has been an Elementary Instructional Coach for 5 years. She also presented and was a coach for Bright Morning Consulting.

Nita is the co-author of the book, Every Connection Matters: Building, Maintaining, and Restoring Relationships Inside the Classroom and Out. She consults in the areas of teaching, literacy, and instructional coaching through her company, Love. Teach. Bless. Nita is also co-founder of Creekmore Conversations where she and her husband, Michael Creekmore, consult and present in the areas of school relationships, educator wellness, school counseling, teaching, and coaching.

Nita has presented for The Teacher Self-Care Conference, Simply Coaching Summit, Get Your Teach On, Educator 2 Educator, ESGI Software, Get Your Lead On, ASCD, and more. Nita has also written articles for publications, partnered with Peardeck to create educator resources and spoken on many podcasts.

Nita loves the field of education and believes in the impact it can have on every student.

Nita is married to her love, Michael Creekmore, Jr. and has four beautiful children. In her free time, she loves spending time with her family and friends, practicing yoga and relaxing with a good book.

Love. Teach. Bless. began as a social media account to highlight my teaching share classroom ideas and discuss all things education. It has grown into a business where I share my love of literacy, inclusive and diverse books, teaching literacy, and being a human. I also present and support other educators in the field through instructional coaching in the areas of literacy and teaching. I have been in education for 20+ years and it is still such a passion of mine. I know this is my purpose.
